About Me
Already a successful physician, researcher and professor in her native country of Iran, Dr. Ranjbaran obtained her US medical license in 2009 while she continued her research in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
I chose this specialty because we treat the patient as a whole individual. Our goal is to improve the patient's function that has been affected by the disease or injury and help put their life back together."
She diagnoses and treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal disorders. This may include back and neck pain, nerve related disorders, whole body pain, joint pain caused by osteoarthritis, tendonitis, bursitis, strains and sprains; and sport related injuries.
Her practice focuses on accurately identifying the source of an ailment and developing a comprehensive, non-surgical approach that can help put the pieces of a person’s life back together. Treatment plans are individually designed for each patient and can be completed independently or with the help of a rehabilitation team. By providing an appropriate treatment plan, her practice helps patients stay as active as possible at any age.
While under her direction, MemorialCare Medical Group’s Electrodiagnostic Medicine Laboratory was awarded Exemplary Status Accreditation (the highest level) by the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM).
Free time finds Dr. Ranjbaran outside, running, hiking and spending time with her family.
As a specialist, Dr. Ranjbaran may not be selected as a primary care physician.
