About Me
Dr. Rachel Sirignano received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from UCLA and her medical doctorate from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at UC Irvine-CHOC where she served as chief resident. She completed her fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at Emory University. Due to her interest in pediatric cardiac critical care medicine, she completed an Advanced Cardiac Critical Care Fellowship at Emory University in partnership with the Sibley Heart Center in Atlanta, Georgia. This advanced cardiac training at a state-of-the-art cardiac center with such a high surgical volume gave Dr. Sirignano the experience and knowledge needed to provide the highest level of critical care to cardiac patients.
Rachel Sirignano, MD chose to pursue a career in Pediatric Critical Care to serve the community whom are in crisis and utilize her skills, training, and education to offer the highest quality of care and support in troubling times.
“I derive the greatest satisfaction from effective teamwork by the entire patient care team to provide children with the highest level of care and advocacy, while providing the highest level of support to their families during the duration of the pediatric critical illness or injury.”
Dr. Sirignano grew up in Denver, Colorado, but moved to Los Angeles, CA to complete high school. Outside of medicine, she enjoys playing piano, camping, skiing, visiting National Parks, and keeping up with her three, energetic children.
