Matthew H Clark, MD

Dr. Clark has a passion for healing and for improved patient outcomes. His patients rave about his bed side manner and ability to listen. Dr. Clark is nationally recognized for his surgical skills and teaches advanced surgical technique to other physician's throughout the United States. Dr. Clark uses a wide range of surgical and laparoscopic techniques and the da Vinci® robot. He participates in the design and development of surgical instruments and uses cutting edge Urogynecology surgery techniques, products and modalities. The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopist Surgeons recognized Dr. Clark as a Center of Excellence for his Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Recognizing his advanced surgical skills, the Jordanian government invited Dr. Clark to teach advanced gynecology surgery techniques to the Ministry of Health, Gynecology Division.

Dr. Clark received his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology there as well. After completing residency, Dr. Clark further specialized by completing a Fellowship in Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery and Urogynecology at Indiana University/Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Dr Clark is double Board Certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Obstetric and Gynecology.

Dr. Clark is married to his wife of 25 years and has 4 children. He loves being a dad and coaches little kid soccer teams and cheers at the older kids' soccer games. He is a resident of Newport Beach.
